The Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof Spray is a water-based waterproofing treatment designed to restore Durable Water Repellency (DWR) to footwear made from fabric, leather, or a combination of both. It helps prevent the outer materials from absorbing water, keeping footwear performing as intended in wet and variable outdoor conditions.

By maintaining water repellency on the outer surface, the treatment helps preserve breathability and comfort, ensuring moisture can still escape from within the footwear system. This makes it especially useful for waterproof-breathable footwear where performance depends on the outer fabric staying dry rather than saturated.
